Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), who is one of President Joe Biden’s closest allies in the Senate, told CNBC that he has talked with officials at Davos about the need to keep helping Ukraine. He had “a private lunch on Monday featuring dozens of CEOs [from around the world], along with other U.S. lawmakers,” to push for more aid to Ukraine.
“I think we have to be clear about our shared priority of supporting Ukraine,” Coons told CNBC, adding that U.S. officials and their allies at the conference have to be clear “on the length, cost and complexity of fighting Russia’s aggression and trying to liberate all of Ukraine.”
