China’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention said yesterday that Covid hospitalizations over the last seven days were down to 37,611, after the previous week’s high of 98,742. There were 424 severe cases – 46 just from Covid and 378 from Covid on top of pre-existing illnesses.
They had 912 Covid-related deaths in the last week, down from the previous week of 3,278. There were 27 deaths from Covid alone, and another 885 from Covid on top of underlying diseases.
