Joe Biden’s executive order “on Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government” seeks to “advance an ambitious, whole-of-government approach to racial equity and support for underserved communities and to continuously embed equity into all aspects of Federal decision-making.”
All federal departments and agencies are to establish Agency Equity Teams within a month, and their plans will be submitted to a White House Steering Committee on Equity, to be headed by Susan Rice.
