F-16s and/or other fighter jets seem to be off the table for Ukraine, but that could change at some point in the future. Not only did President Joe Biden say “no” when asked on Jan. 30 if he would authorize the transfer of F-16s to Ukraine, but the U.K. also said supplying Western jets was not practical. “These are sophisticated pieces of equipment,” a Downing Street spokesperson said, reported the Guardian. “We do not think it is practical to send those jets into Ukraine.”

Oleksii Reznikov, the Kiev regime’s defense minister, insisted in Paris yesterday that “no” only means “no” now, but will turn into a “yes” later. “All types of assistance at the beginning went through the ‘no’ stage,” he said. “This means ‘no’ as of today.” French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu reiterated there was “no taboo” on the supply of jets, echoing similar remarks made by President Emmanuel Macron on Jan. 30.
