Syrian Foreign Ministry Calls for Ending All Sanctions against Syria

The Syrian Foreign Ministry issued a statement yesterday calling for the ending of all sanctions on Syria. “Syria is calling on all countries and international organizations that have supported the Syrian people in its trials and tribulations caused by the devastating earthquake, and in its ongoing fight against terrorism, to demand the removal of the inhumane and illegal blockade that was imposed on the Syrian people unconditionally, without any conditions,” the Foreign Ministry said. “Syria is calling on the U.S. to immediately, without any conditions or exceptions, cease the unilateral coercive measures that were imposed on the Syrian people,” reported TASS.
