Despite the devastation of the Feb. 6 earthquakes in northwestern Syria, the U.S. military is still stealing Syrian oil. Yesterday, the official news agency SANA cited local sources in the al-Yarubiya countryside reporting that the U.S. occupation forces took 34 tanker truckloads of oil from the al-Jazeera oil field and from the eastern region of the country to its bases in Iraq.
