UK Warhawk Calls for “NATO vs. Russia” Confrontation

Sir Gerald Howarth, former UK Member of Parliament and Defense Ministry official, suggests that it’s time for the West to think about putting boots on the ground in Ukraine. “I think that is something we now have to consider,” Howarth told Sky News, when asked if he was suggesting NATO boots on the ground in Ukraine. Howarth blithely acknowledged from his armchair that “certainly, if you were to put a NATO force in there, that would be NATO vs. Russia.” Yet, in his view, the war is looking like a stalemate and Ukraine has to win.
