Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Feb. 24 he thinks talks between China’s President Xi Jinping and himself could be “crucial” following the release of China’s 12-point outline for peace. Zelenskyy said he plans to meet Xi for talks, but did not say when. He said he thought the talks could be crucial for global security, according to the account in the London Daily Mail, which was similar to many others. “I plan to meet Xi Jinping and believe this will be beneficial for our countries and for security in the world,” said Zelenskyy at a press conference in Kiev today.
