British King Charles won’t go to France. His planned visit was postponed in a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. The Élysée Palace statement announcing the postponement said that his trip would be rescheduled “as soon as possible.” Charles was to have been in France from March 26-29, and was planning to make a fuss all day March 28 about wildfires and climate change. But many of the 3 million French people in the streets demonstrating against Macron and his deadly “pension reform,” have been having a Jeanne d’Arc reaction against Charles Windsor as well.
