Side Meetings of the New ‘Global Majority’ Took Place at the G20 New Delhi Foreign Ministers’ Meeting

One outstanding pattern at the Group of 20 meeting March 1-2 in New Delhi, is that, among the many bilateral side meetings, nations in the emergent “Global Majority” in the world, are exerting their own leadership in discussions and topics. A few reports on this:

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with his counterparts from Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, China, and other nations. He met with Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar before the G20 event began.
