$877 Billion from the U.S. Government for the Military Industrial Financial Complex

According to a new report issued by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, or SIPRI, which maintains a database on military spending around the world, the U.S. government spent $877 billion on the military in 2022. They note that is almost 40% of total global military spending, and also more than ten times the amount the U.S. federal government spent on education ($76.4 billion).
