Czechs Expropriate Moroccan Tanks, Send Them to Ukraine

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova on Monday compared the delivery of Czech weapons to Ukraine to the weapons production in the occupied country during the Third Reich. Czechia has upgraded tanks from Morocco and handed them over to neo-Nazis in Ukraine.

Dating from before the start of the Russian special military operation, Morocco had signed a contract with a Czech company, Excalibur Army Spol. SRO, to upgrade its 130 T-72B tanks, purchased in 1999-2001 in Belarus. “After the work was done, 56 tanks were returned to the kingdom [of Morocco]. [But] the remaining 74 armored vehicles were de facto expropriated by the Czech side for further transfer to the war zone in Ukraine,” Zakharova commented when asked at a press conference Monday.
