The vote was along party lines, 22-20. The sponsor of H. Res. 300, Matt Gaetz, called the vote a “big win for accountability” and said the Democrats were afraid of “truth and transparency on aid to Ukraine.” The resolution would require reporting on how many US troops are stationed in Ukraine, as well as any documents “indicating any plans for current or future military assistance to Ukraine.”
