Lukashenko Warns That ‘World War III with Nuclear Fires Is Looming on the Horizon’

The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko delivered his annual Address to the Nation and Parliament speech yesterday, in which he issued a severe warning about the danger of thermonuclear war, if NATO continued its aggressive forward march against Russia. On March 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to acquiesce to Lukashenko’s long-standing request that Russian tactical nuclear weapons be deployed to Belarus.

According to a report in TASS, Lukashenko stated: “Through the efforts of the U.S. and its satellites, a full-scale war has been unleashed in a neighboring country to the last Ukrainian.… World War III with nuclear fires is looming on the horizon.… It is impossible to defeat a nuclear power, if the Russian leadership understands that the situation threatens Russia’s disintegration, it will use the most terrible weapon. This cannot be allowed to happen,” he said.
