Moscow Responds to Drumbeat for Ukraine To Join NATO Now

In response to a question from TASS about NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg mouthing off about how Ukraine would eventually join NATO, and if stopping that was still one of the goals of the Special Military Operation, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: “Of course, because, otherwise, this will pose a serious, significant threat for our country’s security.” As for what the prospects are of that occurring, Peskov stated simply: “No, the Kremlin has no assessments of perspectives.”
