Tucker Carlson gave Robert Kennedy, Jr., an opportunity to talk on his show on April 19 about Kennedy’s views on the Ukraine war and the transformation of U.S. democracy into a “corporate kleptocracy.” Interestingly enough, Carlson introduced the segment with Kennedy by showing a clip of his father Robert Kennedy, when he announced his own bid for the Presidency, challenging incumbent Lyndon Johnson over the failed war in Vietnam, with Carloson underlining the similarities with the present. Kennedy, Jr. was quite forceful in discussing the issue of the Ukraine war, describing that his own son was deployed in Ukraine in the U.S. Special Forces as a machine gunner, and had taken part in the assault on Kharkiv. (So much for “no U.S. boots on the ground” in Ukraine!) He also contrasted the fact that the Biden Administration was sending billions of dollars to Ukraine at the same time the White House was cutting back on the food stamps program and eliminating the poor from Medicare.
Carlson said that he agreed with Kennedy and felt it was important that he get these issues out, as everybody else is spewing the big lie the Biden administration is pushing on Ukraine. He also expressed that the media were portraying Kennedy as a lunatic, in an effort to suppress the issues Kennedy is raising.
