China’s Vice President Han Zheng was in Portugal from May 7 to 9, where he met with Portugal’s President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. Han, according to Global Times, said cooperation should be the mainstay for ties between Beijing and Lisbon, as well as China and the European Union.
