According to BBC, “U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak tweeted: ‘The U.K. will work together with the U.S.A and the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark to get Ukraine the combat air capability it needs.’
However, the U.K. has no F-16s; Belgium has 44 operational F-16s (out of some 72), Denmark has around 40 which are operational, and the Netherlands has 24.
France’s Macron also gave lip service to being willing to train the pilots, but would not supply any F-16 jets to Ukraine.
