Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin arrived in Shanghai on May 22 to attend the Russia-China Business Forum, which he said was being attended by a large Russian business delegation. Attendance at the forum he said was at least 1,200 people. “Our relations with China keep getting stronger. This longstanding relationship is based on historical roots, mutual respect and friendship,” he said. Mutual trade increased to nearly $190 billion last year and “I am sure that this year, we will reach the level of $200 billion that was set by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.”
Today he then traveled to Beijing where he met with President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Qiang.
