The Economist Salutes Its Colleagues in the World’s Oldest Profession

The semi-official mouthpiece of the modern British Empire, The Economist, writes approvingly of the booming business of “patriotic prostitution” near the front lines of the Ukraine war. The article is titled, “How a Front-Line City Became Ukraine’s Romantic Capital.” Brothels there are doing a land-office business, and “the sex workers … see themselves as integral parts of the war effort.”
