Zelenskyy Boasts Ukraine Will Be an Arms Production Hub for Britain's BAE Systems

The headline of Ukraine’s national news outlet Ukrinform says it all: “Ukraine Is Ready To Become Major Regional Hub for British BAE Systems—Zelenskyy”

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a busy day yesterday, meeting with the heads of the U.K.’s notorious BAE Systems and also with representatives of the Atlantic Council. His Telegram posting, as reported by Ukrinform, states. “I met with representatives of the British defense company BAE Systems: CEO Charles Woodburn, Managing Director Gabby Costigan, and Director for Cooperation with Ukraine Christian Seear. We discussed the localization of production in Ukraine.... We are ready to become a major regional hub for the repair and production of various types of BAE Systems products....”

Given BAE’s history of off-the-books weapons deals and the laundering of funds on behalf of London’s geopolitical goals—including the trail leading to the 9/11 attacks, as reported by EIR—one might wonder, what took them so long to officially move in on Kiev.
