Yuriy Ihnat, spokesperson for Ukraine’s Air Force Command reported today that, last night, Ukraine’s military airfield outside Kropyvnytskyi was hit by Russian missiles. He explained that such airfields are a “delicacy” for the enemy, and argued that Ukraine needs more air defense systems. He stated, as quoted by Ukrinform: “As for cruise missiles, unfortunately, indeed, not all of them were destroyed, out of six, four were downed by air defenses, and two, unfortunately, hit our operational airfield near Kropyvnytskyi.” It is necessary to strengthen air defense capabilities throughout Ukraine.
