Preeminent journalist Seymour Hersh published on his blog an article this week on U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken’s rant on Russia and Ukraine in Helsinki on June 2. Blinked spoke while welcoming Finland’s entry into NATO. Blinken declared as fact the equivalent of “snow is black” (as Bertrand Russell would say), that Russia and Putin are losing the war in Ukraine, collapsing at home, and isolated from the “international community.” Such nonsense doesn’t fool anyone, but Hersh cuts to the chase by noting about Blinken: “His real message might be put more bluntly: ‘I hate the Russians and let the blood flow.’” (https://seymourhersh.substack.com/p/blinkens-battle-hymn )
