The Vatican is deploying Cardinal Matteo Zuppi for a peace-finding mission to Kiev, and the Cardinal may also go to Moscow afterwards, Süddeutsche Zeitung reports. Sabotage of his mission is already on, however: it cannot be excluded that the bombing of the Kakovka dam is connected to Zuppi’s visit. Remember that each time that there was an initiative with a chance to move towards peace negotiations, an alleged “Russian atrocity” put everything back to square one. If Zuppi’s mission had any chance, it is now easy for the gang in Kiev to throw the table over, in face of “Putin’s new crime.”
