FBI Recommended Social Media Censorship on Recommendation from Ukraine’s SBU Secret Service

During the July 11 House Judiciary Committee hearings with FBI Director Christopher Wray, Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC) raised the issue of the FBI’s collusion with Ukraine’s SBU. The link below is of Bishop’s relevant questioning of Wray. A takeaway from the exchange: While Wray defends the FBI’s actions ostensibly against foreign interference in elections, he has no defense or denial of the FBI acting at the behest of the SBU, i.e. acting itself as an agent of just such an “interfering foreign power.”

Bishop opens with a reference to the FBI’s “Foreign Influence Task Force,” initiated during Wray’s directorship, and references the recent court findings that the FBI’s interaction with social media was coercive in nature. He references, later, that in Lamont v. Postmaster General, the USSC defended the rights of American citizens to access information, including that which could be construed to be enemy propaganda.
