While the lack of adequate weapons is undermining the myth of the “counter-offensive,” weapons are useless if there’s no trained troops to employ them. The Slavyangrad Telegram channel reported yesterday, on the TV appearance—complete with video—of a Ukrainian militant who told the interviewer, “The soldiers are running out,” that is, Ukraine is running out of trained manpower to send to the front, and not just militarily trained manpower. Apparently, he was particularly galled that “motivated people” are running out, that is, convinced Russophobes, who themselves went to kill Russians back in 2014 and happily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2022.
Slavyangrad makes much of the fact that this appeared on Ukrainian television. “Most likely, the people of Ukraine are being prepared for the climax of the conflict. It’s just that Zelenskyy will not agree to sign a surrender, before that he will send all his strategic reserves for slaughter, after the destruction of which he will sit down ‘at the negotiating table’ with quiet sadness.”
