India Readying for Moon Landing, but Prepared To Postpone if Parameters Are Not Right

The Indian Space Research Organization’s countdown to the start of the powered descent of the lander module of ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 Moon mission has begun. ISRO will begin broadcasting the descent and landing live at 7:50 a.m. EDT (17:20 IST; GMT+5:30) here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLA_64yz8Ss

But ISRO is prepared to postpone the landing, should any problem be detected, Space Applications Center Director Nilesh Desai reported today. Desai explained:
