The British and their American “Tories” are beginning to flail around in search of a strategy to crush the revolt brewing in the United States against the whole lot of their policies. That now includes having second thoughts about whether Joe Biden is able to win re-election in 2024. So far, public discussion continues to focus on the so-called “Trump problem,” although their troubles go far beyond that.
An Aug. 31 Lexington column in London’s The Economist magazine raised the problem, citing election polls and other signs that Biden’s “re-election bid is in trouble,” despite the fact that the Republican frontrunner is “under indictment for 91 felonies in four criminal cases.”
