NATO Flies Its First Drone Mission Over Finland

NATO has flown its first drone reconnaissance flight over Finland, since that country became a member of the alliance in April. “A NATO surveillance drone concluded a flight over Finland, the Alliance’s newest member,” NATO Spokesman Dylan White tweeted in a statement on the X social media platform, adding that the aircraft was collecting surveillance data for NATO “decision-making processes.”
