Under Dilma Rousseff, the NDB Bank’s Breakout from Passivity Was Manifest in South Africa before the BRICS Summit

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Aug. 20, on the eve of the BRICS Summit, that the BRICS New Development Bank (NDB) had just provided South Africa with 100 billion rands ($5.27 billion) to support infrastructure projects, including road construction, water supply, and energy initiatives.
