President Biden maintains his lack of concern for the daily slaughter in Gaza. When asked yesterday whether the U.S. would support a return of the hostages in exchange for a ceasefire, he immediately replied: “We should have those hostages released, and then we can talk.”

Apparently, Biden’s arrangement with Netanyahu involves no compromise on the slaughter, and to find some level of suffering of the Palestinians where they will trade enough hostages for food, water, and medicine. This is coherent with the recent two times Hamas has freed a pair of hostages coinciding with the miniscule aid packages allowed to cross the border into Gaza from Egypt.
