Establishment Forced To Take Note of RFK, Jr.’s Independent Candidacy

Despite censorship combined with media dismissiveness and mocking, the Establishment media have been forced to take note of the potential for RFK, Jr.’s campaign for President to shake up smug projections for the 2024 election, now that he is running as an independent. His announcement was attended by an overflow crowd of people of diverse “ideologies” from around the country, estimated by LaRouche Organization activists at anywhere from 1,500 to 2,000 people. Catholic News Agency (CNA) reported “several thousand” in person, with more than 750,000 watching the livestream.

Establishment media (CNN, Politico, CBS) are obsessed with which party Kennedy’s independent bid will pull more from, with the general consensus being that Kennedy’s base overlaps more with Donald Trump’s than Biden’s. CNN reported that CPAC has invited RFK, Jr. to address their upcoming convention. However, Rolling Stone’s on-the-ground reporter at his Philadelphia launch warned that “if Monday’s event was any indication … Kennedy’s base is largely made up of voters who the Democratic Party lost somewhere along the way.”

Less discussed, but right up there in the minds (if there are any!) of the Establishment, is the potential for “the LaRouche factor” to catalyze a real American revolution out of today’s ferment. Slate magazine published a silly piece on RFK, Jr.’s launch as “convention of the political fringe.” Cited first in their story, however, were the “devotees” of the late Lyndon LaRouche, who “went up to attendees and asked them if they were familiar with George Washington’s Farewell Address before trying to sell them on a fringe Senate candidate in New York.” British Reuters news agency quoted that candidate: “Diane Sare, an independent candidate for U.S. Senate in New York who attended the Kennedy announcement.” Reuters, which interviewed Sare, chose to quote her on how “the two major parties have made it impossible for third-party candidates to get on the ballot”—a feat their own report made clear she had accomplished.
