Following the Friday, Oct. 27 initial incursions by Israel into Gaza, reactions have popped up literally around the globe. A preliminary list is as follows:
Rallies in the thousands or tens of thousands took place in Rome, Paris, Copenhagen, Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, Stockholm, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Amman, Tunis, and Wellington, New Zealand, among many more locations, while demonstrations in London and Kozhikode, in southwest India’s state of Kerala reached crowds in the hundreds of thousands.
Of particular note, however, was the demonstration at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, Türkiye, which estimates put as high as 1.5 million, which President Erdogan personally attended and made strong remarks against Israel.
