Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas To Visit Moscow

Preparations are being made for Palestine’s President Mahmoud Abbas to make an official visit to Moscow, according to a statement by Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Abdel Hafiz Nofal given to Rossiya-24 television. “We are in contact with Moscow on a daily basis. Preparations are now underway for a visit by President Abbas to Moscow,” the diplomat said. Although the visit has been in the works for some time, it now comes at an obviously crucial moment, given the conflict raging between Israel and Hamas.
