Russian Fighter Jets Intercept Three RAF Aircraft over Black Sea

Russian Su-27 fighter jets turned three British aircraft away from Russian airspace over the Black Sea yesterday. “The Russian fighter jets identified the aerial targets as an RC-135 reconnaissance and electronic warfare aircraft and two Royal Air Force Typhoon multirole fighters,” said the Russian Defense Ministry in a statement. “As the Russian fighter jets approached, the foreign military aircraft made a U-turn away from the state border of the Russian Federation.”
