Late yesterday and overnight, capitals throughout Southwest Asia and North Africa were rocked by angry anti-Israel and anti-U.S. demonstrations, some of them violent, protesting yesterday’s bombing of the Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City which killed an estimated 600 people. U.S., and Israeli embassies and consulates were targeted in many cities. In Tehran, hundreds of protesters gathered outside the British and French embassies early this morning, chanting “death to France, England, America and the Zionists.”
This is just a taste of further upheaval to come, unless sane minds are allowed to prevail in resolving the current situation.
