U.K. Defense Committee Calls for Build-Up To Counter China

“Breaking Defense” reports on a new document issued by the House of Commons’ U.K. Defense Committee lamenting Britain’s unpreparedness to counter the challenge of China in the Indo-Pacific. It decries the “limited” military presence and the “unclear” strategy at a time of potential conflict with China, and argues the U.K. needs a “major commitment” of new defense spending, equipment and personnel in order to play a major role in the region.
