Egyptian authorities reported this morning that 200 trucks carrying relief supplies entered Gaza yesterday, on the first day of the truce between Israel and Hamas. The humanitarian aid trucks were accompanied by 2 ambulances provided by Egypt’s Tahya Misr Fund, 15 trucks containing a Jordanian field hospital, and 11 trucks containing an Emirati field hospital, reported Al Ahram, citing a statement by the Head of Egypt’s State Information Service (SIS) Diaa Rashwan. Rashwan also said that Egypt received 17 injured Palestinians with their 15 escorts and 12 others who traveled to the United Arab Emirates and Türkiye.
