A full-page ad was run in the New York Times on Nov. 8 under the above title. The page has hundreds of names, most of whom are reverends and pastors, overset with a large dove holding an olive branch.

We fear unless there is an immediate ceasefire by both Hamas and Israel, the conflict in Gaza will escalate into a regional war resulting in the continued death and injury of countless Palestinian and Israeli civilians, particularly children….
