On Nov. 3, students from eight Danish “gymnasiums” (similar to a U.S. high school), mostly in the Copenhagen area, went on a day-long strike, with two demands: a ceasefire in Gaza and humanitarian help. They also demonstrated in front of the parliament.

Also on Friday, five activists were arrested in a protest action inside the Danish parliament, where they raised painted “bloody” hands, and waved a Palestinian flag from the visitor section overlooking the floor of the parliament. Outside, protesters laid down on the pavement with “bloodied” white sheets over them.
