George Washington University Suspends ‘Students for Justice in Palestine”

George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, D.C. has suspended Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at GWU from “hosting and participating in on-campus activities for at least 90 days following the group’s anti-Israel and anti-GW projections onto Gelman Library last month.” This refers to a demonstration by the group on Oct. 24 which projected slogans on the wall of the campus library. The slogans included: “End the Siege on Gaza;” “Divestment from Zionist Genocide Now;” “Glory to Our Martyrs;” and “Free Palestine from the River to the Sea.”
