The Palestinian News & Information Agency-WAFA, Sputnik and Al Jazeera reported on Nov. 25 that demonstrations occurred in several major cities around the world in support of the Palestinian people.
In Berlin, Germany: 10,000 participants crowded into the city’s center, and expressed their solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza, as well as to call for negotiations both in the Israeli-Gaza crisis and the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Some banners read, “No to wars—stop the madness of armaments—for a peaceful and just future.”
London, U.K.: Palestine Solidarity Campaign estimated a turnout of 300,000 participants, who demanded a permanent ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinians; the peaceful protesters carried banners that read, “Ceasefire Now!” and “Stop the War on Gaza.”
