The Henry Jackson Society (HJS), always a mouthpiece for British imperial interests, posted a report Oct. 30 which is right in line with the enunciated goals of the “Free Nations of the Post-Russia Forum,” whose “break up Russia'’ doctrine EIR has documented extensively. The author is HJS Research Associate Dr. Taras Kuzio, a political science professor of Ukrainian descent, but born and educated in Britain, who now teaches at the University of Kiev-Mohyla Academy, and has written many books fixating on “Russian imperialism” and “Putin’s war on Ukraine.”
Entitled “Russia and the Anti-Western Axis must be Militarily Defeated: Shifting the Western Consensus toward ending Russia’s military threat to Ukraine and the West,”, the report states in its executive summary that the “U.S.-led unipolar world that has been in place since the end of World War II” is now confronted with and must defeat the Russia-China-Iran-North Korea anti-Western axis.
The executive summary explains that the Hamas Oct. 7 attack against Israel, combined with alleged Iran’s threats of regional escalation, make clear that Western democracies must stand together “with the clear goal of the military defeat of the anti-Western axis. This wider threat makes it more important than ever to deliver a decisive defeat against Russia, one of the leading members of this new anti-Western axis.”
