Israeli atrocities against the Palestinians continue without letup, despite reported U.S. pressure for “humanitarian pauses.” An AFP reporter witnessed the aftermath from the destruction of a boys’ school by an Israeli tank that killed 20 people, Al Ahram newspaper reported on its live update page this morning. Ambulance teams rushed into the debris-littered building to aid the injured and remove the dead. Stunned onlookers wept and wandered the scene with hands clasped above their head in horror and disbelief.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society condemned the targeting of a convoy of ambulances in Gaza by Israeli occupation forces on Friday, Nov. 3, which it says killed 15 people and wounded more than 60 others. The PRCS said in a statement early today that one of its ambulances was struck “by a missile fired by the Israeli forces,” about two meters from the entrance to the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. Another ambulance, belonging to the Health Ministry, was “directly targeted” by a missile around 1 km from the hospital, causing injuries and damage, the PRCS said. Israeli authorities subsequently took responsibility for the attack, claiming that the ambulances were being used by Hamas.
