The Palestinian Ministry of Health, in an update issued today, reported that the number of Palestinians killed as a result of Israel’s military campaign has reached 10,165, with more than 27,000 wounded. Of those, 10,010 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip, and more than 25,000 were injured, while in the West Bank the number of fatalities rose to 155, and the wounded to about 2,250, since Oct. 7th. More than 70% of them are children, women and the elderly.

Of the 35 hospitals in Gaza, the ministry reported yesterday that 16 are currently out of service due to the Israeli bombing campaign and the depletion of fuel reserves. The shortage of fuel has left doctors with no choice but to perform surgeries without proper anesthesia, including those who have been injured in the airstrikes and women undergoing cesarean sections.
