Three Palestinian college students were shot over the weekend in Burlington, Vermont. Two remain in critical condition, the third with minor injuries. While no official judgment of a hate crime has been announced, the police report includes that the three were walking down the sidewalk speaking a mixture of Arabic and English, and at least one was wearing a Palestinian head scarf. The shooter apparently saw them out of his front window, and walked outside toward them to open fire.
