Russia Sanctions Cost Europe $1.5 Trillion

As TASS reports, Russian officials spoke of a giant sanctions boomerang against Europe, at the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum in Samarkand two days ago. Mocking on the one hand some of the European sanctions like the ban on knitting needles as not having much of a damaging effect on Russia, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk said that Europe’s decision to abandon reliable access to affordable Russian energy resources was “the biggest mystery of the 21st century.”
