Princess Mthombeni, founder of the Africa4Nuclear YouTube channel in South Africa, said in an interview with RT, conducted at the COP28 in Dubai yesterday, that the industrialization and development of the African continent cannot be achieved without atomic energy. Mthombeni mentioned that 22 nations, including the U.S., Canada, Japan, France, the U.K., and the host U.A.E., had signed a pledge on Dec. 2 to triple nuclear energy capacity by 2050, at the UN’s Climate Change Conference in Dubai.
