Biden Chats with Netanyahu, Does Not Ask for Ceasefire

Joe Biden, in the aftermath of reports of Israeli airstrikes wiping entire extended families in Gaza, spoke to Netanyahu by phone. “I did not ask for a ceasefire,” Biden said of the call, described by AP as “a long and private conversation.” Netanyahu’s office said the prime minister “made clear that Israel would continue the war until achieving all its goals.”
