The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, comprised of the heads of state or government of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), met in St. Petersburg on Dec. 25, to adopt a declaration on the further development of the EAEU through the year 2045. The meeting was chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Attending were the heads of state and government of the five members countries of the EAEU: Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, and Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Mikhail Myasnikovich. The main goals of the EAEU are:
• to create the conditions for sustainable economic development of the member countries to improve the living standards of population;
• to form the common market of goods, services, capital, and labor; and
